Hey I was trying to look back and find out what the largest launch day sales of a third party wii exclusive game has ever been.  

Some pretty notable ones:

Red Steel: 133k

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games: 97k

Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles: 76k

Rayman Raving Rabbids 2: 74k

Rayman Raving Rabbids: 67k

Mysims: 44k

Trauma Center Second Opinion: 44k

Tales of Symphonia DOTNW: 41k

Rayman Raving Rabbids TV party: 40k

NO more heroes: 35k

Okami: 35k (although ported)

Medal of Honor Heroes 2: 33k

So where do you guys think Madworld, HOTD OVERKILL, and The Conduit will fit in?

None of the Rayman Raving Rabbids games were Wii exclusive, Okami wasn't exclusive, and neither was MySims. But if you want to know which future third party game I think will have the highest debut, I'm going to say Monster Hunter or Dragon Quest.

i think they will probably all get around 30k
except the conduit which will probably(hopefully)get about 50k

Hmmm, he was only looking at American sales, you still think MH3 will have a huge opening?

Actually they all LAUNCHED wii exclusive the Rayman games that is.  The first one appeared later on xbox 360 and failed.  Mysims also LAUNCHED on the wii exclusively and was later release on the DS If memory serves me correctly.

Is this world wide first week sales? If so:

-I'd say 45k first week for HOTD overkill (already sold 20k in others)
-40k for madworld
-120k for the conduit

American sales.

Lots of Wii games have week openings but just keep selling and selling consistant numbers for months and months.

Dang, I didn't see the part about America only. I thought I was being so clever.

Shakarak: I didn't hear the qualification that they had to be exclusive upon launch, but that's fine too.
