a very good comparison imo regarding the engine used both games look good though. the best comparison video.
its interesting to note at 3:53 i have never seen grafical effects like that before.

Posted already,While Gears has better textures,KZ2 has better shaders.
I think this video will put paid to naysayers on both sides.
It is clear from this that Killzone 2 has a very slight but noticeable graphical advantage over Gears of War 2.
It really shows what can be done with double the development time.

GG had to build their engine from scratch, and Epic used the UE3 engine which also took lots of time to make. If you include UE3 engine development in Gears's development time, KZ2 and Gears 2 were developed for a roughly equal time.

You're kidding right? We don't include the development of engines in timeframes for any others such as Bioware or Square Enix. Besides, Epic has three teams. One works on the Unreal Engine, one works on Unreal Tournament, and one works on Gears of War.
That's a big "if" my friend.

Not to mention they pumped out 2 gears of war for ever 1 KZ2.

Well it is not quite clear to me...
Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.
Skeeuk we appreciate that you have an opinion and you believe that KZ2 is graphically superior than Gears of War 2 but that is just your opinion.
