They don't score, but the love is palpable.

The most important factors for me is fun factor and replayability. Metroid seems to have one of the two. I think that's why I can't wait for Mario Kart. It is fun and already has great replay but with the online, it is going to rock.

IGN gives a 10 for sound? Nintendo games never get above like 7 for sound because of the Pokemon MIDI factor.

Anyone playing this game yet? I think I will call around today. Also I don't think Retro's next project will be Metroid. I predict this game will take a break for a couple of years. They will still brainstorm some ideas but I would like to see them tackle the Icarus franchise. They've earned it.

I was kind of expecting this game to get panned in some reviews. It will be interesting to see what the sales are, although my expectations are still pretty low compared to SMG ans SSBB.

The reviews I've seen are thorough enough for me. The only downside for me is lack of multiplayer to extend the life of the game but I have Gears of War for that. I've only played it once in like the last 4 months. I suck at it. My roommates girlfriend could own me in that game. She plays Gears like 5 hours a day. No joke.
