I'm unfamiliar with the OP's history so I can't comment on that. However, Negative or not, nothing Pachter says should be classified as "news" anymore

Not saying these are my views, but just a possible meaning to his that is not the PS3 dropping to the Arcade level price.

Seems the other way round to me, PS3 was ahead until September last year in Europe but now is always falling behind the 360 on hardware and software sales, Europe is being taken by Wii and 360 not PS3, PS3 is losing in EU year on year and is down most weeks lol.
Is it just me, or does Pachter change his mind every five minutes?

Well, Pacther has been about as accurate as the real estates experts telling us we'd see a bottom to the falling market last summer...so does that mean the ps3 will catch the 360 in 2 months?
