Im sure MS are trying to steal his DNA. They can breed an american Myamoto all for themselves

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

Just like I bought everything with Tupac's name, Nirvana, Notorious B.I.G., and Heath Ledger (even though I was gonna see The Dark Knight 5 times, anyway), I will buy everything with Miyamoto's endorsement on it if he died.

Miyamoto's death will cause a Nintendo sales explosion.

Thats because 40% of the people who answered are shallow vindictive fan boys.

They hired him, kept him employed for 20 years, they know what theyre doing.

Really, Miyamoto died 3 years ago. Nintendo has an Miyamoto animatronic that looks pretty realistic and does public appearances. They know how we'll buy anything as long as Miyamoto tells us that I will be awesome.

Luckily, he has an $18 Billion insurance plan.

This. With Miyamoto's head.

I just wonder how the media will respond. By that time, will he be recalled as a major celebrity dying, or will nothing be said? The Japanese are long-living bastards though so he might even outlive the lot of us.
