Excuse the rant but why doesn't Nintendo build computers or put another way, why can't anyone make a computer that works like a Wii. Sony builds computers (more about this later) and Microsoft builds computer accessories (let's NOT get into that software OS thing).
Like right now I'm having to use the touchpad on my notebook (which I hate) because neither my MICROSOFT 8000 Bluetooth mouse or my MICROSOFT 5000 Bluetooth Mouse feels like talking to the computer tonight. Often one doesn't, so I just switch to the other but tonight both have disappeared AGAIN from the installed list and the little flashlight thingee can't find them.
I'm kinda discouraged on Bluetooth anyway. Case(s) in point. My Bluetooth keyboard worked most of the time but most of the time pissed me off so I replaced it with a Logitech Illuminated Keyboard (great keyboard by the way) with a nice reliable CORD.
A brand new Logitech Bluetooth headset lasted TWO WEEKS before crapping out. I'm on my third Bluetooth hands-free car phone. One died, one wouldn't connect or stay connected UNLESS I was inside a restaurant 100 feet away through concrete walls, then it would stay connected so I couldn't answer my phone.
The only Bluetooth anything I ever owned which works, as advertised 100% of the time is the Wii.
And not to let Sony off the hook-I have a new outrageously overpriced Sony All-In-One because I love the screen and it looks great on my desk in the living room. Nice computer except I had to upgrade my wireless to N because it just couldn't hold a connection to my G router even after I bought a boost antenna. Yet it sits less than 10 feet away from my Wii which could stay locked on to that same signal 24/7 for fricken ever. So why can Nintendo do it in a $250 "toy" when Sony can't in a $1300 computer.
You see what I mean. All I know is if Nintendo ever does build a computer, I'll be first in line!
