Yeah you know what I'm talking about. Those games that get rave reviews and all your friends talk you into buying it because it's so freaking fantastic that it's awesomeness can be seen from orbit, but you somehow manage to think it sucks....We all have a list of these games, and we're probably too afraid to speak out due to the fear of being molested by a swarm of rabid fanboys.
Now is the time to break your silence! Reveal your list!
1) Final Fantasy 7 - the superstar of JRPG's. This is the game that made me realize that I really hate JRPG's. Completely story based, requiring little to no skill to complete. If all I cared about was a story I'd read a book or watch a movie! I feel lazy playing JRPG's!
2) Mortal Combat - once the shock value of the fatalities wore off I really didn't find much substance there.
3) Super Mario 3 - I never completed the 8th world because I was bored by the time I got there :( *bows head in shame* because I know it's a classic lol
4) Neverwinter Nights - was supposedly a revolutionary RPG for the PC but I quit playing after about 4 hours. I found it immensley boring, especially compared to Baldur's Gate 2 which I thought was the best PC RPG of all time
5) Diddy Kong Racing - I LOVED Mario Kart 64 so I had really really high hopes for this and for some reason it just didn't click.
Let the flaming commence! But don't forget to leave your own list!
