I don't trust one single review for a game, but I will trust a bunch of reviews that follow a similar idea.  I used to completely trust IGN and Gameinformer, but ever since I saw reviews from them that have made little sense (GTA IV, Mirrors Edge, and Rainbow Six: Vegas 2) it has been hard to agree with them.

There is not one source completely reliable but is there one that's better?

Gameinformer:  Rainbow Six Vegas, Assassin's Creed, and GTA get 9.5's and 10's

IGN:  Rainbow Six Vegas (8.0), Assassin's Creed (7), and GTA (10)

Gamefaqs user-reviews are what I like reading.

Very few people with agendas and the reviews usually have a lot of interesting info.

I don't think it is. I usually read them too.

I still say IGN, the review itself is means more to me than the number. So I take time to read the review and by that I judge the game.

I don't really trust any anymore. I use GT as they use video so if they are moaning about something, they can show me why they are moaning about it, it is also because I can be a bit lazy, and I can't be bothered to read IGNs longer reviews.

Generally I decide what games I am going to get before the reviews come, unless they get awful reviews. I also take notice of them when games I haven't heard much of get great reviews
