what's the best metal gear solid , and worst one too

I've only played the first one, so I'll go with that one.

The worst: MGS4
The best: tie between the first one and the second one.

I'd say 4's the best, 2's the worst.

Best: i wanna say tie 1 and 3

Worst: easaly 2

Best: By far MGS2. Best storyline in the series. 1 is a close second

Worst: MGs3. Most dumbed down storyline, gameplay to cutscene ratio was too high.

Three is by far the best in terms of story.

I disagree. MGS3 was the most hollywood like in the series, which is not a good thing. The philosophical dialogues/monologues prevalent in MGS1/4 and especially 2 were the most muted in MGS3. The franchise is widely regarded for it's thought provoking, thematic storyline and the lack of exposition regarding political/social/existential commentary in MGS3 was quite disappointing.

Best for me was MGS2, with the first one being a close second, and 3 being the worst. Haven't played 4, though
