Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.

I figured Capcom was blowing smoke as soon as I saw the numbers over here. 86000 on day one is not a sell-out number, unless Capcom had an extraordinary lack of faith in the game and only shipped 86000 units (unlikely). I wouldn't be surprised if the collector's edition actually did sell out, though, but that wouldn't constitute a significant amount of units.
Interesting that the update on CAG shows that the 360 version has actually sold out and not the PS3 version. Wonder if that will be reflected in hardware sales next week? Somehow i doubt it.

I think there was less than 60k of the 360 version supplied for the first day when there was roughly ~120k for the first day on the PS3 version.
Hmmm...well this past weekend I went to many game stores (my gf was searching for a GBA game...) and at some of them I saw the 360 version of SFIV out of stock, but in others it was in stock, so I guess it depends on the store. The PS3 version was much easier to find.

I was wondering the same thing. Did SF4 sell insane numbers or did they ship a small number?
