I don't love Sony. I do however really like the variety of quality titles available on every system they've ever made. The games make any system what it is. my first sony console was the ps2, and up until then i *only* owned nintendo consoles, and was a pretty big nintendo fan. Now i just buy the system that I think will get the best variety of great games and features I care about. That's it, feel free to spin that however you want.

You're telling me God of War means nothing? Gran Turismo? LBP is one of the most, if not the most innovative games this gen. Sure games like GTA and FF went multiplatform...but what platform gave them their popularity as it stands today? Playstations. Plus, Sony's internal studios > everyone elses. I don't care if Mario has a 97 on Metacritic, so you can therefore say "Nintendo makes the best games". I've had enough of Nintendo's repetition...and M$ first party. Laughable.

Naughty Dog, Insomniac, Santa Monica, SCE London, ICO, Incognito, Zipper, SOE, Guerilla, Sucker Punch, the list goes on of studios that make great NEW games all the time.

That's why I love Sony. You say that the games that gave Playstation its' name were only 3rd parties that have since moved to being multiplatform. I can tell you that the only games that made me love the PS brand that were 3rd party are from Square (specifically, just Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy), GTA, and Metal Gear. Everything else was 1st party (God of War, Gran Tursimo, Ratchet series, etc)

Have you not seen Sony's first party games?

Why would I want to spin the things you said? I am asking why people love something that hasn’t earned their love by their own hands. Everybody has their opinion and I am out to find out why they have that opinion. I don’t see that as something wrong.

1) I know many people that have a Ps3 and are NOT KIDS...THEY ARE IN THEIR 20's and up
2)If you have a Ps3...How can you be a KID or jobless or never had a job? unless your EXTREMELY spoiled I cant see this happening...most people without jobs or limited amounts of money have a Wii or a 360 since they are CHEAPER...
3)MOST IMPORTANT IS THAT JUST CAUSE YOU LIKE SONY DOESNT MEAN THAT WAS YOUR FIRST SYSTEM...MY FIRST SYSTEM WAS AN ATARI 2600...DO YOU SEE ME LOVE THEM? NO....NOT ONLY THAT BUT THE CONSOLE THAT REALLY ENTERTAINED ME AS A CHILD AND BOUGHT ME INTO GAMING WAS NINTENDO..AND I STILL HAVE LOVE FOR THEM...I LOVE EACH AND EVERY COMPANY FOR WHAT THEY HAVE TO OFFER!

The same could be asked of those who think Nintendo craps Rainbows and can do no wrong.  I would argue that if loving Sony is impossible, then so is loving any other company, and that includes the makers of Mario.

Idk about loving them but I do appreciate everything they've done for the gaming industry..

I don't care for which company one falls in love with. I only care for the therapy. I've seen people loving trees but at least those have some kind of metabolism.

Pleas calm down… people call Nintendo the kids console yet they are for everybody. And you can tell them that you know a lot people who own a Nintendo system who are over 20 and they would still call it “kiddy” :P.

The funny thing is that they themselves love kid’s games like LBP ;)
