Wow, Nintendo raped everyone doing the Gamecube gen. I wish I could go back in time and show this data to the people that predicted that Nintendo would go the way of Sega. I wonder what they would say? OH, wait this is the internet and they'd never believe me or challenge the data because it does not support their belife.

@psWii60... it has done it's rounds on VGC a number of times.... it's from a poster on neoGAF I believe, but you can find all the information yourself on the investor relations websites of the 3 companies, although exchange rates differ so it can get a bit complicated changing fom Yen to $.... which is another thing I am not certain about that table, if the GAF poster started in the middle of it then he may have used a blanket exchange rate for the past Yen amounts. I might check it out someday, but I can't be bothered now.

 People forget that nintendo also had a monopoly on the handheld market till the psp launched. GC wasn't the only thing generating profit.

Yeah im a obsessive person and latelty there hasnt been alot of good threads on here or this site is getting old for me so that's what i do on it now that and check up the weekly #'s or other #'s

Jan, Feb, May, June, July 08 is when the PS3 actually beat the 360 in sales.

Interesting looking back at OG XBox sales that they won a few months. It's like a reversal of sales looking at the 360 versus the original XBox.

The 360 launch and MS's product halt of original XBox systems really effected sales big time, and only when there was a shortage of 360's (December) was this NOT apparent.
