I don´t know about numbers for profits/losses since 2001 but there are shipment figures for consoles since 1993 I believe on this site. Look under World then hardware shipments and you´ll find shipped figures from 1993 to 2007.

how about doing a 1, 2 ,3rd year comparison of PS2 n 360 too...
