I think the Ps3 can reach about 50 Million...100 Million depends on wether the economy fixes up and people are willing to pay that much for a console...and it also depends on the lifetime the Ps3 is given in just about 2 years and a little more the Ps3 has sold 20 million....if it follows closely with PsOne and Ps2 which both have something like 8year life spans it can reach atleast 80 million...highly doubtful but not impossible

I believe the Ps3 is really behind the other consoles due to it's price and the weakened economy in the U.S....if you look at the console sales for the systems the Ps3 is REALLY behind the 360 a HUGE amout in North America...about the 8 million which is the current gap between the two systems...

Im glad in the U.S people are finally supporting an American made system it's about time...they usually dont fare too well like the Jaguar :p

Since you did'nt read correctly I will say it again I said it can do 80 million but its HIGHLY DOUBTFUL AND I SAID IT'S GOING TO BE AROUND 50 MILLION...and weve been in a recession for a while it just wasnt brought to the forefront so it would'nt cause mass fear in the public...something like around December 2007....and before that the Ps3 was WAY too much for people to waste theri money on $600 for a console? NO WAY...but right NOW the Ps3 DOESNT cost that much and it still aint selling that much in America want to know WHY? PEOPLE ARE MORE CAUTIOUS ON WHAT THEY SPEND THEIR MONEY ON...DO YOU WANT A PS3 OR DO YOU WANT TO HAVE THE MONEY TO PAY FOR YOUR RENT, LIGHT BILL OR GAS BILL?
