I can understand remaking a game that was late in the GC's life. But one that was earlier. Is there really the market for it -- or are the controls going to make it much more fun? (The only RE's I have are RE(1) on the Saturn, RE-CV on the DC and RE4 on the Wii -- So I am not nearly into the series as much as some others -- which may explain my questioning.).

Yeah lol, look at RE0 Wii-make which was supposed to have RE4 controls. Capcom always deliver more than we expect from them, of course.

Yes, there was a rumor about RE4 controls before Capcom denied it all because many saw as impossible porting the tank controls on a sucessful way to the Wii-mote.

Like one once said, again Capcom decided to shove their old shit onto the Wii, and that's not acceptable. Enough with the ports, enough with the old games. This is not supporting the Wii. This is using the Wii as an ATM to cash in and fund games for the other consoles, and that's just bullshit. 

I'm not buying this crap and I urge every other Wii owners not to buy it either. The Wii userbase has undoubtedly proven that they do buy and deserve real games so bring them on already. Capcom needs to step up and dedicate real talent and real money (AKA more than $10), to a real, original Wii game because if they continue with this shit they can go to hell. 

After that Tales of Vesperia for the PS3 fiasco. I've learn not to believe any rumor unless the game company confirms it themselves

Because the Gamecube isn' the 360? RE2 hasn't been remade, AFAIK, so it deserves a nice HD remake. Use the RE5 engine, and slap on Raccoon city = awesome.
