MGS4 had it, i was there.
gamestop annoys me a little... though theyre just a retail store and cant be biased, a lot of the times i would hear the employees having to tell customers that the 360 is the best system, even though i personally new some of them and they were wii fanboys.

even today, i went and picked up onechanbara, and they automatically thought i wanted it for the 360.

oh well

wait onechanbara is out.  well than i must pick up a copy.

Now maybe people will realize that the game won't outsell Gears 2 on the first day nor will outsell Halo 3.

Seriously people are making these ridiculous predictions it's frickin pissing me off.

Gamestop opened half their stores for MGS4 at midnight so not sure what to make of that.

Gamespot here has adds all over it,  and they are the one s w ho got me to finally preorder. After the demo, I'm getting my 5 back(I was  di s sapointed, but that i s MY opinion.) but they certainly didn't s lack on the adverts .

S till, don't forget that preorders  don't necces arily mean  sales . Theres   still hope. Midnight launch does n't mean that much.

Sony doesn't really have to much money for marketing, Hence why there isn't a KZ2 commercial out yet.

(with the exception of the 5Mill Euro Advertising Budget)

And with just a couple weeks before release, you would think they would have started showing them by now..

Game Advertising in Gamestop (or any retailer for that matter) works just like commercials, you have to pay for advertising, posters, signs and such.

but... I don't really see a lack of advertising in the KZ2 department in my local Gamestops..

I've been threw a few these past couple weeks and there is plenty of advertising for KZ2 and others.

After people played the demo (by making a euro account) then GS should see a boost in preorders...

If they see less after the demo.. well.. then we have a problem..

Most GameStops in my area didn't have midnight launches for Metal Gear Solid 4. I certainly wasn't expecting one for Killzone 2.

Why should anyone be forced to make a Euro account?  This is exactly why I think Sony is full of fail at advertising and making it easy for its core user- the actual gamer.  They should have opend this thing up from the start and allowed anyone with a PS3 to download this.  Why not?  It is an excellent game and they should be wanting to show it off to anyone and everyone within shouting distance.

Almost every employee at my local Gamestop is in love with their 360.  When I go in and the employee starts to talk up a game, it's a 360 game.  When I check out, they mention 360 games.  When I buy a PC game, a few of the employees tell me how the 360 version is better.

When I buy a PS3 game I get no info.  But that's just the way it goes here.
