40$ USA, 54€ Europe.

As far as I care, they can bury themselves with unsold boxes. It'll be a big pile, they did the same with Viva Piñata 2.

It was sold full price in the UK and I assume the rest of Europe.

I was pretty disappointed when BK 3 was unveiled as a vehicle building platformer, so even if it's a good game, I'm half way glad it didn't sell that well if it sends a signal to the developers.

Though it would be better if it was the other way round: it being a more traditional platformer selling great.

It essentially sends the signal that there's little demand for a Banjo game. Hence low sales equals no sequel at all.

At the end of the day, Nuts and Bolts was a great game, which was very amusing, and the most creative game released in 2008 that wasn't called LBP. A traditional Banjo platformer would not have sold on the 360, it would've been savaged by reviews and gamers would've bitched about the lack of creativity. They really were damned if they did and damned if they didn't.

No I'm not happy with the sales.

Of course I don't care too much since it's on Xbox 360, but I'd have liked to see that game sell more because I still like Rare and because it'd be good if platformers would see better sales overall so more platformers would be produced.

This is saddest and truest post on here.  Everyone should take note.

I'm still pretty early in the game, but I'm really not understanding the hate at all.  And, if you really want to make an issue of anything, the hate is one of the key reasons why the sales are so low.

Some came from big proponents of 'adult' games that are turned off from anything that resembles 'cute'.  Some came from Nintendo die hards that are mad the game isn't on their system.  Some came from Sony fanboys that didn't want anything to threaten LBP.  Some came from Banjo Kazooie jihadists that are bigger fans of a game type than the characters in the game.

In the end, though, a great game is being missed by a large percentage of an install base and that's always a tragedy.  Again, I'm early in it but so far it really feels like a 'sick day' game, and those are always a treat.

Anyway, I'm glad Rare and MGS decided to take a chance and give us something that felt a little fresher than the same ole and I hope that despite the sales of this game that they will continue to push for even more fresh gaming experiences.

It deserve a lot more than this!

I think at least 800k is possible without bundling !

i loved banjo kazooie:nuts and bolts. i think its a great game, i know i am in the very minority here but i dont give a damn. i think rare is still the same great company that they were when they worked for nintendo. also most of the ppl who worked for rare when they were a part of nintendo still do, just the founders are not their thats it. i think nuts and bolts will sell when its all said and done be around 1.5 million in sales if not more. the game wasnt as advertised on tv that much, but its sales are slowly getting better and thats because of the world of mouth. so i think the game will continue to have some decent legs for awhile. i am glad rare didnt make just another platformer, i am glad that tried something new, making new vehicles to reach the jigges that u cant is very fun. also every single rare game that they have released so far on the 360 has sold over a million copies, every single game. thats a damn good record if u ask me.
