First of all... Don't take this as flamebait. I'm Nintendo all the way... As some of you guys might know ... And i totally love em for the games they make and stuff... But i don't like, AT ALL... The way 3th parties are using the Wii as a freakin dumbster... And in a lesser way Nintendo too (Wii fit, Wii play, Wii crapgame blablabla...)

Lets have a look at the some crappy games announced 'not so long ago' for Nintendo's Wii:

New Midway game... Announced at GDC 22th of August 2007:

Why on EARTH did they announce another FREAKIN CASUAL GAME?!... FOK IT!!! There are already more casual games out on Wii then there were on any other system during their live (not including PS1 and PS2). Booeh

EA's Wii Spielberg game... (And i was looking forward for this when i didn't know what to expect) cuzz the X360/PS3 Spielberg game doesn't look crappy and casual.

Ummm well that only shows that you're not much of a gamer to tell the truth. And that's all. Swear to god, "true gamers" and the sort just act like spoiled children if a different genre of games surfaces up.

PS2 was the third party dumpster last generation

I agree that the level of third party support is pretty bad. What bothers me is that these developers and publishers keep saying the Wii gamer isn't hardcore enough. What I want to know is how they make that determination? I've been gaming constantly since 1979 and would LOVE to play games like WET, Bioshock, Stranglehold, etc. on the Wii. There's no reason why the Wii can't have those experiences.

Honestly, we should blame Nintendo for this, it totally falls on the shoulders of the third parties. If the Wii crashes and burns, they're the only ones to blame.

I won't comment on the third party stuff, but I am surprised that you are one to think that once Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and Mario Kart are gone, all of the development teams that worked on them are going to roll over and die, as opposed to working on ANY of the other Nintendo franchises, like:
Star Fox, Kirby, Pikmin, etc.

You're upset about MySims!? Really? I think you're just expecting too much and assuming everyone likes your style of games. MySims is actually looking to be a pretty good console version of the sims (which to my knowledge there hasn't been a good console version) that has a great style. Just because something is cutesy doesn't make it bad, just look at Dewey's Adventure.

As for the blocks game, a few things:
1) It's under EA Casual Entertainment-- what do you expect?
2) Do you see people bitching about Little Big Planet for being casual? From the little I've seen of this game, the two look like they're going to be fairly similar where they are just physics simulators with some sort of gameplay hook and a different art style. The big feature of both of them are also user created content.


What I'm sick of are people that assume their opinion is right and the one that matters for everybody. Get of your damn high horse and just play the games you like. The truth is even games like the Life game sell well because they are family friendly games. With things like Wii Fit, it's going to sell millions easily (something hard to do for any game that requires a peripheral). If you don't like don't buy it and stop bitching at every little chance.

You know what kind of games you like, you can easily see what games are coming out for any given system so make your own choice.

What is your problem? If you don't like the game, just don't buy it. Whats with Medal of Honor? What games do you want?

You would think Boogie sales would teach them a thing or two. Then again, a casual title made well can have legs. It's kind of funny. Because while the WiiSports & WiiPlay titles are certainly not graphic acheivements, the graphics in that first one looks like a poorly made flash game that a 5 year old drew with a tablet. Or at the very least a poorly blown up DS screenshot.
But, these aren't the only games coming to the Wii. I already will have to cut out a title here and there from my list or risk not paying my mortgage.
