As many of you guys know, I work at GameStop.  Today, this guy came in with a brand new PSP Slim.  Apparently he bought it from Best Buy to replace his old one, opened it, realized it was a waste of mone since he never played his old one, then tried to return it.  They basically told him to GTFO.  As such, he came to our store to try and trade it in for cash.  He would've gotten $56 for the PSP and $3 for the 1GB memory card.  I gave him $70 for everything.

I just got a brand new PSP and a memory card for $70.  The screen protector hadn't even been taken off!  The only thing I didn't get was a box or instructions.

And now on to the games.  I plan to buy these:

Daxter
God of War: Chains of Olympus
Killzone: Liberation
Patapon (and eventually Patapon 2)

Games I'm thinking about buying:

Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions
Jeanne D'Arc
Resistance: Retribution

Any other recommendations?

You owe it to yourself to buy tactics. at this exact second in time I'm playing Jeanne D'Arc it's not bad (gameplay wise not as good as tactics but storywise infinitely better so far.)

Holy crap, I completely forgot about MGS. MGS:PO is a must. I'll look into Acid.

You should should seriously look into hacking your psp.

Even though you might not pirate psp games it still unlocks your psp with plug-ins(in-game music for instance) and basically the whole catalog of games from the ps1 era and before it.

I'd recommend Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters; it's short, but you can get it for $20 or less, and it's a great game. KZ: Liberation is great, but I see you're already gonna get that one.

If you're a Star Wars Battlefront freak like I am, I'd say get Renegade Squadron because I've had tons of fun with it, but I think that one is more of a tossup on whether or not you liked the others.

Also, if you like racing games (read: WipEout), I'd recommend WipEout Pulse. (Haven't tried any other racers on the PSP yet ^_^)

If you're into RPG, try Star Ocean 1 and 2, Monster Hunter and Dissidia once it comes out in the US

Do you like SHMUPs? Gradius Collection and Salamander Portable get my vote.
