Forums - Sony Discussion - Hype and Halo killer

Lol. Killzone can't touch Halo or its legacy, much less kill it.

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

Around the Network

Ok I just gave a little more thought to my last post about bots so I'm gonna bring it up again...

How the hell could it not be considered a viable form of co-op? For some, it easily beats a campaign co-op. Why?

1: Once you've beat a game's campaign, there's no surprises left. You know exacly what's gonna happen and it can make things much easier.

2: As I said before, 15 players vs. 15 bots. Currently, R2 has the highest amount of players in co-op, which is 8.

3: Since it's still basically a multiplayer match, that means the host can customize all the settings so you can change things up and add a little more variety.

Screw all the reviewers bad-mouthing the game for a lack of co-op. Skirmish is KZ2's co-op and also serves an awesome way for casual players to get into the game.

As a huge fan of player vs. bot matches in Perfect Dark, I could really see myself getting into this.

No one is saying that Killzone 2 is a savior or a Halo killer or whatever bullshit some of you are making up.

I remember in one of the interview GG said that they would like to see people not call Killzone 2 a Halo killer or any other game, rather just appreciate the game for what it is.

Again, no realistic person think that Killzone 2 will have a major impact on selling and PS3 overall.

So, I really hope to see people (the haters mainly) stop making bullshits and accuse others for saying that.

i don't know.... that definitely sounds cool, but, the Unreal series has been doing that on consoles since the dreamcast days, no where near the same number, but same gametype. that's more competitive co-op, which isn't much different than playing online against human opponants.... but, going up against the computer in death-match style games just isn't as much fun. Working through the story with a friend though, getting to play all those moments the developers put in to blow you away adds so much more to the game. It's a whole lot easier playing through things a second time when you're running with someone. But, bots are cool i guess. wish Halo had 'em.
