Buddy, I'm with you, I would love Uncharted 2 with a co-op, and as it stands, it looks like it could very well get co-op. As long as they don't ruin Uncharted with a multiplayer, I welcome co-op :)

 

I would like coop.. but i hope that the second person is different chars during the game. And that some segments you would have to go different routes. I don't want someone stalking me through the whole game. I like how uncharted was with variation. The AI was some of the best ever though. So it wouldn't be that annoying

Yay. So now when you hit them multiple times before they go down.. it's actually realistic :P Hope there are different foes, some without armor too. ho ho.

Probably the tastiest part of the Killzone Cocktail is the Multiplayer. Imagine if Call Of Duty 4 and Team Fortress 2 had a baby, which they then abandoned and as a result had to learn a few new tricks to survive. That’s what Killzone Multiplayer is like.

Indeed. Your allied AI never got in the way, both sully and elena. They seemed.. almost life like. They were a part of the experience. They would back you up, pick up weapons from dead pirates, the enemies would also shoot at them. Etc. It was one of the things that made the game so damn epic.

 

I guess in short, it just felt like they responded to you. Unlike so many other games where it's like the computer (not concidering the enemy) ignores you and just follows their waypoint scripts to the letter.. lol

That's not what I experienced while playing Uncharted on Normal.  Sully and Elana did some shoooting, but it was never enough to make a decisive difference.  They might have been picking weapons off dead bodies, but I was too busy trying to keep Drake alive to notice.  Take for example the epic fight in the church near the end (Sully sees all of them damn snipers with laser rocket launchers, and Drake is pinned behind the cover column as the grunts try to outflank).  Sully just hangs outside and never helps much.  I think I eneded up killing each and every pirate in that church myself.

Same was true of Elana in some of the fights when wave after wave came after me, but she just sat behind cover and took an occassional pot shot.

Improvements are caused by people who complain

If uncharted 2 is at all like the first one, all the cut scenes are in-engine, and the graphics in-game are equal.  I remember that the last frame of almost each cutscene being continuous with the first frame of gameplay that followed.  Only the animations and facial expressions were different during the cutscenes versus in game.

They're all in engine even if they are cut scenes, in the last game, they had different character models for in game and cut-scenes, but they were still all rendered real time, but this game they use the same character model. All those shots are in-engine
