Wow, some of the rooms you come across in the apartments, are just wow

With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Game trailers-Halo 3 only dissapointed the people who wanted to be dissapointed.

This game just keeps getting better. Im lacking sleep because of it. Right now Im in the Poseiden Theatre area. I havent fought him yet but the boss in this area is a real demented sick f*ck. =)

The environments are so detailed and everything looks so damn good you end up wanting to check out every corner and detail of every room (something I normally dont do).

You know what else Ive noticed. I save *alot*, and when I die I reload my last save instead of continuing from the respawn thingy then redo. Must be a habit from past fps games but its more challenging that way too.

PS360 ftw!

Currently playing..........

Gears of War 2, GTA IV Lost and Damned, Little Big Planet (Yes I said I had no interest but my girl wanted to try it and we did and now Im hooked )

There is a compromise between the two, though. I think BioShock's greatest fault is its difficulty level. There are four or five times when I accidentally angered a Big Daddy or walked into a room with the wrong Plasmid and was mobbed. Instead of attacking, I just went "what the hell" and wrenched as much as I could. Then I respawned with all my unused ammo and walked back in knowing exactly what I was getting into.

I hope to God that BioShock 2 at least implements some sort of penalty for going to a Vita-Chamber. That, in my opinion, is probably the game's biggest weakness.

I'd also like to see a few more RPG elements in the game.

Don't get me wrong; I think BioShock is one of the greatest experiences I've ever had in gaming. But that doesn't mean it's perfect and the next time I explore Rapture, I hope there are a few minor tweaks to gameplay. With that said, I still gave the game 10/10. I think it's f***ing amazing.

Yes, Id like to see them penalize for vita-chamber usage. Maybe you spawn with half life/eve or your plasmids dont work for a preset amount of time, maybe you can be dizzy for a while (something..anything..) I think they could do away with them altogether and just implement some checkpoint autosaves or something. Also I feel like they are kind of a big hole in the overall story, since wouldnt *everyone* be using them, splicers and villains and all?
Also now further into it I feel Im getting sort of sick of listening to those diaries. That monotone vinyl record quality sound they have does add to that 50's atmosphere though, but for me its getting a bit old.

If i think i am right about where i think you are, they will be for a while, its mostly because yoru dont really understand, and it doesnt contain huge information..... untill an incident later in the game (one of the best ingame cutscences ive ever watched, i was just shocked.....)

i agree, im just saying you do have the option of loading, people are saying you are forced to go the easy way, also in most games if you die and reload, theres a big chance you know what to expect when you died.

I think they did fantastic on the story, graphics part, but maybe a little more gameplay, plasmids, and ya rpg elements. And a few more environment activities. Though im still having fun with the plasmids and such that are provided
