I haven't played the demo but can't you just adjust the anlogue stick sensitivity ?

the aiming is slow even on the highest setting, slower than it was in the non-wii edition of RE4,

and chris controls poorly, so I'll reiterate if you have tried playing as shiva , do so she plays much, much more like leon than chris

I know this isn't a Wii game, but I can't help it. Playing the game made me miss the RE4 Wii controls. RE5 just seems slow to and cumbersome to move and aim. I haven't played enough to say whether the game will be good, but it's difficult to enjoy it when all I can think about is how unnatural the controls are. The Wii controls are nice, but to be honest they woudln't really increase my enjoyment of the game very much.

fixed

Sure, why not?

Is it not a fact that PS360's controls are the same as last-gen's, whereas Wii's graphics are improved, even if only by a small margin?

The PS360's controls may be the same but that's not what dictates how good the gameplay experience will be , The Wii's graphics may be improved but they are still pretty poor by today's standard so to say the Wii's graphics are more "next gen" than the PS360's controls is a moot point.

That it's a moot point or not is a matter of opinion. The same goes for your standard regarding graphics, which probably isn't an issue for Wii gamers who don't play 360 or PS3 games. We're in the realm of opinion now.

Judging from 360/Wii sales, it seems people value controls more, especially considering the 360 is cheaper.

Whether or not the Wii owners play PS3/360 games is irrelevant , the standard still (Crisis , Killzone 2 could be considered the standard ) exists and many Wii owners are at least aware of it even if they don't experience it 1st hand.

Another moot point , controls only form part of the incentive to buy a consoleso ,  to say the Wii indicates that people value controls more you'd have to be saying that the Wii offered little else than good controls , how do the sales of the Wii indicate what kind of control scheme people prefer in relation to other consoles ?.

I could just as easily say people seem to value white consoles as is evident in the 360 being outsold by the Wii , especialy considering the 360 is cheaper.

Well, I'm just giving my opinion. The Wii controls made the game more fun for me. It's not going to be the same for everyone.

I felt the same way with Metroid Prime after playing Prime 3. Even though it uses a lock on system it felt weird trying to play it without the pointer.

So standard = state of the art? Err....

If you don't think people are buying the Wii in large part because of the controls ok, but don't expect many people to base their opinions on that. And BTW the 360 is white too.

I know what u mean.
After playing FPS on my PC & even Wii for that matter, i just can't go back to analog. That right analog stick just doesn't feel right.

This whole analog thing is so blown out of proportion. I have a Wii, PC and PS3. I have absolutely no trouble using the sticks when I need to, and I definately don't let something so stupid stop me from enjoying a game.

Obviously the others are preferable, but I'm not going around speading bullshit that analog sticks are so bad to the point of unplayability.

Seems to me like Wii fans are still bitter about RE5 not making it to their console :'(

So, any ideas about the story for this game?

Does it relate to RE4 in anyway?

No, RE5s story actually resembles something that should appear in a RE game.

So you mean instead of being intentionally campy and not taking itself seriously, it's going to make me want to gouge my eyes out with a spoon.

don't worry there's gonna be a Wii version, and if there isn't then I'll shove the Master Sword down Chris's throat...somehow.
