Is it not a fact that PS360's controls are the same as last-gen's, whereas Wii's graphics are improved, even if only by a small margin?

People used to play without analog sticks. Did that make the games that predated analog sticks terrible? No. However analog sticks made games more fun. Would you want to go back to the controls without analog sticks?

well i originally beat RE4 on the cube, so its no problem.

TBH seeing the game its the same as RE4 style wise etc, seems they coulda made a scaled down wii one.

The PS360's controls may be the same but that's not what dictates how good the gameplay experience will be , The Wii's graphics may be improved but they are still pretty poor by today's standard so to say the Wii's graphics are more "next gen" than the PS360's controls is a moot point.

I'd like to play RE5 with the wiiremote too but apparently you can't have everything. I managed RE4 easily enough on the GameCube, it's just a case of having to get used to the 'standard' controls again.

As a former PC gamer, I can answer that with a big YES.

That it's a moot point or not is a matter of opinion. The same goes for your standard regarding graphics, which probably isn't an issue for Wii gamers who don't play 360 or PS3 games. We're in the realm of opinion now.

Judging from 360/Wii sales, it seems people value controls more, especially considering the 360 is cheaper.

i had to quit cus i had carpal tunnel pains in my wrist from too much UT.  couldnt do mouse that long anymore.

i HATED analog controls at first as a substitute, but got used to it.

unfortunately i have no choice.  still tho i loved the mouse, but i HATED using the keyboard to move and do shit.
