This year its obviously the wii. They have Arc Rise Fantasia, Mad World, Conduit to name a few. Hopefully Fragile will come over as well.

It's tied between DS and PSP for me.(ds probably has the edge with DQIX).

If you mean home consoles then probably Wii.

I say wii. I think nintendo has some big guns for the holidays.



Support good third party games on wii. Buy games like house of the dead overkill, de blob, madworld, the conduit and boom blox.

Surprise? Like all threads that make comparisons like this, they don't measure what people actually think, but how many fans of that console came to vote. Ohhhh boy... another one.

 

I think it is actually based on what people think, but it is flawed because of what they know.  I like the PS3, therefore the main releases that I keep track of are stuff for the PS3.  Therefore, it would appear to me that the PS3 has the best line up for 2009, but I don't keep track of the other two well enough to equal everything out.  Honestly it's best to do this stuff after the year is done, too difficult to guesstimate at it and not let your inherent biases rule over your decision.

That is actually the reason this kind of question doesn't work. A friend of mine has a ps3 and doesn't know a good game on the wii. Why? Because when news comes of a wii game, he has no reason to read previews or reviews. No reason to get excited about it either as he is not going to play it anyway. The same thing happens to me and other consoles. I just don't read about them and the games don't sound very interesting to me because of that.

It's not that everyone that will vote for their console just because they have it, but there will have a tendency to vote for their console because that is what they read and get excited about.

I think it's more to do with the fact that people will be more likely to buy the console that they like the games for.

I have a Wii and I think the Wii lineup will be best, that's why I bought a Wii, doofus! =)
