It might be undertracked... or it might explain the PS3 retailer price cuts we've been seeing recently.

what price cuts? dell.com? they price cut the 360 too.

exactly

and we have 360 only 700 K lower than shipped(27.3 sold Vs. 28 shipped)

It was Walmart, Dell, Amazon and Best Buy:

Some retailers could have a glut of 360 stock as well, who knows?

Just because its illegal does not mean they don't do it. Big corporations in trouble always pad their numbers to deceive investors. If you watch cspan long enough, you will see that its a re occuring theme in big business. In fact, this whole economic crisis happened because of shady business practices on wall street.

enough already

What mysterious market are they selling 2 million unaccounted shipments to that every major chart chracker missed? Iraq? South Africa? Iran? Sorry, but they didn't sell 2 freakin million to those places while selling 1 million in the US. Padded numbers confirmed

^ you know thats impossible right?

It's generally accepted that a healthy console will have about 1.2 million on shelves.

Because it is doing better than expected, the 360 has 500k less than this
Because it is doing worse than expected, the PS3 has 800k more than this

yeh like norm vg chartz has under tracked sony

360 shipments ended up being 28.5m when they released their financial report.
