Definantly software ran backwards compatibility "with good upscaling" since I would imaging that 80%+ of the ps3's out there are not b/c. I would really like to play final fantasy 12 cause I never got too and a ps2 looks like complete crap on an hdtv :(

upscale ps3 games. that's all they really need to do.

.mkv playback would be nice if possible.

REALLY detailed profiles, the profiles now are just crappy

Ok so we can stream our ps3 to our psp so we can play ps3 on psp. Why not reverse it so psp can stream to Ps3 so we can play on our tv using a ps3 controller?

Yeah yeah i know they have compenent cables that allow you to play on the tv, but I don't have a component tv. I use a high def computer monitor for my ps3.
