Who would have thought a few years ago that we would see those numbers marketshare related to Japan.

There is not middle point in Japan, they always give a major support in every generation to one system.

I think this year PS3 would recover a little of marketshare thanks to FF13....but ups...Wii has MH3.

LOL really, I just cannot wait to see the meltdowns on this site when MH3 does not sell the millions on the Wii which the MH games do on the PSP.

Wii obviously the monster of the home consoles but nothing compared to the handhelds. Go on, put the handhelds into the equation and lets see where the home consoles fit in there.

PS3 has Gangsta 3, FF13, RE5, GT5, and something else and such.
Wii has S&P2, Punch Out, FF spin-off, DQ 9, MH3, Wii Sports Resort, new Mario Party likely, maybe Pikmin 3, and more.

Final Fantasy XIII is not going to sell more than Dragon Quest X, at least in Japan.

I thought DQ games were released on the weekend to discourage people from skipping work and school?

I've heard it is a law in Japan that Dragon Quest games have to be released on teh weekend
