Around the Network
  • Alan Wake
  • Star Ocean
  • Halo Wars
  • Fable2 DLC
  • Resident Evil5
  • Mass Effect (missed it)
  • Mass Effect 2
  • Halo ODST
  • Operation Flashpoint 2
  • Kingdom under Fire

These are the games I want to buy this year. Quite a list. And with Lionhead and Rare games still to be announced, things could get better.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

While the quality of all of those games may qualify as being impressive, from a marketshare standpoint, that list is extremely dissappointing. Aside from perhaps Star Ocean 4, not a single one of those games is likely to shift a significant amount of hardware.

So low has mighty Microsoft have fallen to bump the number of it's exclusives with DLC :) I can't stop laugthing after seeing Fable 2 DLC in there :)

Unfortunatly the only reason to consider buying x360 there is SO4 as I'm afraid I'll play huge part of those "exclusives" in Full hd 30+ fps on my pc :)

Good lineup, but I don't think its better than 2008 mainly because of a huge number of PC multiplats.

This

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."  --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials

those pictures on gamespot look awfully high res to be on the 360 version, i think quite a lot of them are showing off the pc version (when there is one obviously)

Well, most console gamers do not have a gaming PC, in fact i doubt even 2-3% has such a PC, so the 360 is like gaming heaven for all those and PS3 gamers than want PC games for just 199$

That is the magic of 360, i can get the best of PS3 (Final Fantasy 13, Devil May Cry, Resident Evil 5 etc), PC (Alan Wake, KUF2, Mass Effect 1-2, Two Worlds Temptation, Venetica, Divinity 2, Dragon Age, Witcher, Risen etc) and xbox360 (Fable 2, Lost Odyssey, Gears 2, Banjo 3, Viva Pinata 2, Star Ocean 4, Halo Wars, Halo 3, Black Legion, Kameo, new Rareware-Lionhead-Mistwalker games, Magna Carta 2 etc)

And all that for just 199$

Another great year for the PS3 and Xbox 360, does look neat.
