you should get the version that uses the most of its console.FF games are great but dont expect them to make a good use of the wiimote.as a matter of fact a ff13 wii verrion would be useless.if u ask me i would prefer to see port of resi5 on wii

@Joehok: Useless to who? It could be useful to Square Enix. People who only own a Wii and aren't planning to buy PS360, might pick the up if it's on Wii. If it's not, they aren't buying it anyway.

I ceased to be a fan of that serie with FF IX.
I like the old FF and don't give a fuck about the newer episodes.

FFXIII is S-E last chance of keeping me as a customer, If it's anything like the worthless piece of crap that is FFXII, they will lose me.

"if the game gets ported to the Wii" promotes false hope in something that will never happen and shouldn't happen. Just buy the freaking HD console that allows all games to look better and do other amazing things not possible on Wii.

then PS3 is guaranteed second place according to you as GT 5 is still exclusive to it ( franchise much bigger than FF in the west)

+ GT 5 will probably come round the same time FF comes out here anyway.

I strongly disagree. I believe I see the (useless) point and even answered the question. Sorry if I prefaced my answer with a description of why the question is absurd by arguing with the language in it. "if the game gets ported" assumes the possibility that it will happen, and it's not going to.

So, just for clarity's sake:

yes, but I already bought my PS3 knowing that FF13 would be coming, as well as all the other exlusives. In fact, I'd pay $300 to play FF and MGS. It is obvious for me that the answer is B, but regardless the scenerio isn't going to happen. I'm sure wii-only owners (which the OP was not specific about) are likely to say "sure, i'll play FF on Wii" because they don't already have the system that the game is coming out on!

The better question is: how many of you Wii-only people are going to get an HD system when FF13 comes out, because it's not going to Wii but we already know it's going to PS3 and 360. The OP added nothing enticing to the Wii owner to get an HD system, only offered a way to say "no, screw FF, I'm not a fan" because otherwise they'd already have or be planning to have an HD system.

Edit:  ammending my question:  you could then follow up with a question about it being ported to Wii and whether that would then prevent you from buying the hd console you were planning to get to play the game to begin with.
