A) but I still prefer DQ :)

I'd probably stick it out and wait until I had a PS3. I know I say graphics don't matter, but the difference between the two would be largely different in that department I would think. And I personally would prefer to have the better graphics just to add to the experience.
Also it's the kind of game that I play for long periods of time. Ay hand aches with the Wiimote when I play for too long, and would rather play with either a PS3 or 360 controller.
My plan is just to wait, I don't mind if I don't get it on release.

I like many Final Fantasy games, but the more I see of XIII the less interesting it looks. That said, I would most likely get the 360 version unless the PS3 version is noticeably superior.

Hates Nomura.

I would get it on the PS3 come on the 360 version will be like 4 dvds minimum that is like 6 for Wii.

That makes no sense at all.

1) The Wii can have double layer DVDs just like the 360.
2) The Wii doesn't do higher resolutions than 480p, therefore the data for the graphics doesn't take as much space as in a 360 game.

So either the Wii version would have the same number of DVDs as the 360 version or less, unless the developers decide to use FMVs for all cutscenes on the Wii while on the other hand using the ingame engine to generate all cutscenes in the 360 version.

You make a great point there, though most likely 360 will use FMV's for at least most of it's cutscenes like most FF games since PS2, so in all likelyhood it would be fewer discs then 360 no matter what.

Brawl is DVD 9 it's the only Wii game so far to use a DVD 9 but anyone could use DVD9's if they wanted.

A) FF was never about graphics... in the old days it was all about the story.

Prepare for termination! It is the only logical thing to do, for I am only loyal to Megatron.

Well...can't buy another system so I'd have to wait some years until the PS3/360 are like $100 and I can pick games up easily. I'll buy FFCC: TCB. I expect a Wii FF XIII (not the main one, another one like Versus or Agito) anyway though.

If you pay close attention to the good deals, it may not take "years." I just picked up mine for $145 (after tax!) a week ago, pretty damn good I'd say. Lucky Microsoft has the money to burn...

FF hasn't impressed me in a while; I saw the new images and couldn't shake the notion that it was like a wine bottle with natty ice in it.

Bad analogy, but basically it just seems like the exact same old stuff with a fresh coat of paint.

I haven't purchased an FF since 9 though, I did get to dabble in 8. They aren't bad games, but I don't see the need to purchase a console for it.

I guess my RPG tastes have migrated to games like:

Monster Hunter Tri, PSO, Valhalla Knights and FFCC. ARPGs?

So hopefully FFCC will be good.

I'm Unamerica and you can too.

Soriku can hardly afford a new game, so he's right to not get his hopes up. Besides, unlike DMeisterJ, he isn't the type of person to prostitute himself to get the money to buy a new console.

People actually pay him for that?

Wait a sec - I thought he was a virgin.
