If I owned a PStriple, I'd say UT3

Uncharted, although I would've gone for haze if it had been on the list

I'll go with UT3 even though I plan on getting it for my computer. The other 4 don't interest me much.

But out of those 5, I'll go with UT3 because I expect it to revolutionize console FPS.

I will probably buy most of these when I get my console, but GT5 is what is going to sell me on the PS3 as well as a price drop hopefully next spring.

You do know that UT is a beyond generic shooter and the only thing that makes it worth while are user levels and mods right? Not saying that as a bad thing, people like the game types it offers, but it's not going to do much in the way to revolutionize the FPS genre.

As for the UE engine, it's good but it's not the most amazing thing ever. The reason games like Gears and Bioshock are as good as they are is because of the time people put into them and the detail, not the engine.

@twestern: Generic? If it's generic, it's only because everybody and their brother has copied from them over the years. I don't know much about the new iteration, but the weapons and vehicles are pretty much always unique. As far as what windbane said, he states that it'll revolutionize CONSOLE fps. It'll do that with cross platform play, the kbd/mouse support and allowing mods.

As far as the engine goes, the Unreal engines are always super popular because of the level of customization they allow. Both modders and devs alike will use it a lot. While it remains to be seen if the new engine will be as popular as previous ones, if it is, it'll be the best engine out there. At least for a while, as the new id engine may fix up what hurt them with the Doom3 engine. Personally, I was hoping more people would have used the steam engine.
