Saw the pics, they certainly do look good, I was afraid with Ubisoft being involved it might be rushed and therefore look like it's rushed.

you must be blind, graphically the game looks OK. The art is horrible, i can't believe they chose to use the models from the CG movie.

Well, those models are good looking in the eyes of many. But it would be nice if there was more models based from more incarnations to make fans of the different incarnations happy.

No I'm not blind, I saw the images of the gameplay not the close up's, though they look like the trutles, not much more you could get out of it except more polygons and maybe more blackspots, but no matter what during the gameplay you know the part you actually play not those close ups, it looks pretty smooth, not much a few polygons and spots on the turtles textures could help any...

Anyway Tuulikk I agree I'd love alternate costumes much like Smash Bros with different looks, like a classic 80's look, a new cartoon look (that one looks bad IMO but hey it's fan service for the kids), and then models based on the old live action movies.  Same with any character in the game, so you can have shredder in all his costumes over the years, but I believe to stay to the shows characters that only appear in one series of TMNT should stay in that style and then you can have a nostalgia battle with 80's look turtles vs beebop and rocksteady.

I hope it's exactly the same as Smash Bros but with TMNT characters :p

What's up with this dark & edgy style? They better put multiple costumes like in Smash & add weapons as well :)

I think the game looks great as well. There's no need to insult someone just because you think differently.

Smash Ultimate Alias - Happy Lion

Mains: Donkey Kong, King K. Rool, Diddy Kong

This is actually very close to the original Turtles art style, from the comics (not the cartoon). They were originally very dark, and were lightened up to be appropriate for a Saturday morning cartoon.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

haha that would be awesome if it did, though i wouldnt be surprised
if Ninty sued them. But what surprised me is that it took this long for
another dev to copy Smash--they copy Nintento with everything else
(wii fit clones for ex and Mario Kart like games and even Mario Party)

Digimon Rumble Arena and Jump Superstars and Ultimate Stars say hi

How I wish those games were able to come to the west :(

I feel your pain brother, maybe just maybe someday they will. I hear the Naruto Shinpudden: Accel series is comming to the west.

Ain't no rules in the jungle, if there were I wouldn't be here!!

For those that think this is base of the latest CGI TURTLE MOVIE. Its not instead its is base of off the original comic which was more violent and bloody. The characters are from the original artist creator. So basically the character creation are from the original not the cartoons and so on watered down turtle.

I TAKE NO SIDES

The Digimon games that played like a Brawler did come to the west.  Medabee and Rokusho versions of them too IIRC.

Certainly the authenticity of it could make for something to rival the legendary SNES game

Yes!  Someone who remembers that game!  That game and the Double Dragon fighter were corny but awesome.
