Those should be there too. Why leave them out? Cause the hype machine for them isnt as big? thats no excuse.

And as for the PS3 list, games like MAG, LA, and Heavy Rain have little details to go on.........yet you list them because of the hype. In all possibility they could all flop.

The whole lists do however count. If a game gets above 70%, its a good game and should be counted. Comparing the origional 2 lists, the 360 list has a greater chance of having more games reviewed 70% and up......signifying that 360 will have a better 09 lineup.  
 

For me, its not even close right now, with the PS3 being the winner.
Games I will almost certainly purchase:
PS3: Killzone 2, Uncharted 2, God of War 3, Heavy Rain (possibly InFamouns)
360: Star Ocean 4 (possibly Alan Wake)
Wii: (possibly Conduit, Punch Out)

HOWEVER, I think that Microsoft and Nintendo will probably announce a lot more games and it'll even up.

Another consideration is that most Wii exclusive titles have been announced within 12 months of being released, while HD console games tend to be announced far further out ... What this could mean is that the Wii could see its exclusive games list for 2009 grow at a rate far faster than the HD consoles.

Now, people may argue that having a lot of games isn't as good as having several good games but there are always going to be unexpected gems and break-out successes that tend to be related to the number of games you have released. I could be wrong but I suspect that a lot of people looked at Guitar Hero as "That bizzare game where you play with a controller that looks like a Toddlers toy and play air guitar to hair metal from the 80's ... Who will want to play that?"

MAG, LA and Heavy Rain could certainly flop. So could Halo ODST, Alan Wake and Splinter Cell: Conviction. Any game could flop. Your point?

And which lineup is better, the one with 14 games over 80, or the one with 7 games over 80 and 9 games over 70?

who cares how many exclsuives do you hvae. Important thing is how good the exclusives are. I can make a 10 0000 00000 tetris exclsuive games for 360 but they would be crap.
