I don't like the concept of Bioshock, and most definitely wouldn't buy it (because i buy games i like, not what others like), however, you can not deny that it isn't regarded a 'AAAA' title given the reviews thus far

There is no such thing as a AAAA title, why do people keep pushing for that?

10 hours is... mighty short. And if it doesn't even make it to 10 hours, that's really rough. I don't think I would buy anything other than a rhythm game that claimed "10 hours of gameplay!"

I won't even claim to speak for most people let alone everyone but I wouldn't be disapointed with a short game (8 to 10 hours) if it is enjoyable through out the entire game; in other words if there is no filler and every moment of the game seems original and fresh. On the other hand, if the game feels like a large portion of it was cut and paste (like a certain FPS I won't mention) even if the game was 40 hours I would dock marks.

From the basic impression I got from this review the game was short and was not brilliant so it wouldn't deserve (close to) perfect scores.

ha and the sony fanboys say to MS fanboys blu ray is the future thats why Gow is soo short yeah blu ray helped alot here 10 of gameplay = flop

Hmm, I didn't expect that I will agree with you... but yeah this game is damn intensive.

Your basic impression is wrong. Reviewers are totally impressed. I didn't mention about positives because they created 5 page of positive impressions and only... few lines of negatives.
