Get over it mate.

Get over what? I'm not salivating over Bioshock.

I'm trying to highlight the absurdity, and hypocritical nature, of Xbox fans attempting to call the "exclusive" nature of this game a triumph.

Truly exclusive games are a rarity these days.

Depends on what system you buy. Nintendo always has alot of exclusives. (but judging by your name i am guessing you don;t really like nintendo)

2K reps just contacted us to let us know BioShock is exclusive to Xbox360 and PC Games for Windows.

 Some months ago :

Capcom confirmed that DMC 4 will be exclusive to PS3.

Then they said 360 and Wii.

Then they said Bioshock for PS3??

I didn't know that DMC 4 is also for Wii.

I think that's what sieanr is trying to say. If 2k said that the game is for PC and 360 only than that's as good as Kojima saying MGS4 is for PS3 only.

Yeah sorry,  I wanted to edit my post but you already quoted my post X_X.

FilaBrasilerio wins

And I'm pretty sure DMC isn't coming to the Wii

It isnt, before they said that, but changed their minds.

DMC 4 rumors   'DMC 4 will maybe release also on X360
Bioschok rumors ' Bioshock maybe on PS3'

Later

Capcom says it will be exclusive to PS3
Bioschok creators says it will be exclusive to x360

Later

Capcom says it will also be released on X360
Bioschok creators says it will also be released on PS3???

I don't say it will I only want to say I don't believe developpers anymore.

lol DMC 4 is a multiplatform exclusive lol :P

as for Bioshock on PS3 it is irrelevant if it's ported more than 6 month after as it is irrelevant for XB360 a port of MGS4 a long time after.... we all know that that kind of game is a system seller on the console it is exclusive in the first place.... without saying that MGS is definitely more of sys seller than BS....

now about MS shooting in there foot with the zindows version... I don't agree.... why because MS is not trying to win the console war... They are trying to install a monopole on absolutely all the level of electronic with on OS in your house..... their dream it's to have a big MSN LIVE network between your cellphone and mp3 players on windows CE your XB in the living room and your PC in the office... basically they want you to have MS all the time up and running except when you sleep :)

Microsoft owns Windows. But MS wants to win the console war so by putting it on PC aswell it voids people buying a X360 for the game when they can just get it on their PC's.

Except that if you look at the recommended system requirements, most people wanting the best experience for this game will likely spend more upgrading their PC than simply buying a 360. Despite the # of people with a PC, few own systems with enough hardware to play the best games at the best settings. WoW (including the expasion) has rather low requirements compared to other games out there so most current PC gamers out there haven't been needing the best hardware.

Except that I can upgrade my PC's CPU, Motherboard, RAM, and Video Card for $300-$400 and be able to play Bioshock at max settings.   That's in the range of a 360 but I know my PC will very likely not fail me and provides me with faster encoding times and everything else on my PC. Not to mention I can play many of the other great 360 games...

I am debating about when I want to upgrade, because I'd like to get a motherboard that will allow me to get upgrade to quad-cores later so I don't have to upgrade my CPU, RAM, and Motherboard every time.  I currently have only an AGP slot so my motivation to upgrade all of them right now is pretty high considering AGP cards cost more for the same performance of PCI Express cards.

Anyway, since UT3 is supporting keyboard/mouse, if Orange Box also does the same I might not upgrade my PC since I'll be able to enjoy those games on my PS3.

Bioshock doesn't really work for that theory considering there is no multiplayer and the only online thing you need for the PC is the ability to access Steam so you can play. Steam and xbox/MSN live are different entities aside from Valve being started by two former MS employees.

To cash in my CC rewards points for $300 in Circuit City gift cards to purchase a 360 or not: That is the question.

Why is it with one game you want to have the best experience with max settings (Bioshock), but in another game it doesn't matter (UT3)?  Nevermind the fact that the Unreal Tournament series and it's fan base has always been centered around the PC which is the lead platform for the game and the 360 was the lead platform for Bioshock.  In fact you've mentioned two games in which it doesn't matter both historically PC based.

Edit: Oops I guess it's because you already own a PS3 and not a 360.  Why did you buy a PS3 instead of upgrading your PC?

hum it was two different argument.... it doesn't apply to gaming only... it apllies to the fact that Microsoft live network is their ultimate goal.... remember Synapse in Anti trust the movie (yeah I know shitty movie) but it's basically what they are trying to achieve less the criminal stuff of course.... it's not about gaming only.... imagine the future of a company that has its hands on basecally anything involving networking in the future... and networking is the future.... (when I say networking is communicating from different device to others not only between PCs through internet or cellphone through wireless) but a global network between all those electronic stuf.... ie your zune with your XB and your PDA with your PC with windows CE and your PC with your watch etc... well you get the point ???

and personally I never succeeded at making work Steam on my PC even after a formating the entire system.....  and to play against your friends on XB you'll still have to go through Live and not steam....

Bioshock will do well enough on the 360 that it won't need to go to the PS3. Resident Evil 4 did between mediocre to poorly on the GC, that's why it was ported to the PS2.

How did the PS3 lose Bioshock as a game in the first place exactly?

RE4 sold close to one and three quarter mill on GC. Tell me how that is mediocre.

Just kiss the tip.
