Forums - Gaming Discussion - Should i sell my PS3?

For all the ribbing it gets the PS3 is not a Game Cube or Dreamcast, it is a very strong trailing console as far as software goes. If you start to hear lots of 360 exclusives being announced or PS3 versions being canned you might have a point but right now it sounds like paranoia as there is no evidence that developers are abandoning the PS3.

If you like your console and you keep playing, don't sell it. Don't woory about the fact that Nintendo and Microsoft sell a lot more : there is room for 3 console in this war...

I don't have a PS3, and probobly not grabbin one, BUT!

Don't sell it, Ive sold so many systems for one reason or another, and I really wish I kept some, seriously.

Never sell a system.

Unless you can't afford food and shelter, then sell it.

Last year's game of the year turned out to be Silent Hill : Shattered Memories (online GOTY was COD 6).  This year's GOTY leader to me is Heavy Rain.

Wii Friend Code: 4094-4604-1880-6889

What blasphemy is this? With Killzone 2 just around the corner.

Don't you know that the PS3 is FOR THE PPL OF GODS !!

im thinking to buy another one....
am i too much happy?

Even without ANY games, I'd use my PS3 to store photos, watch Blu-rays, download music (I downloaded EVERY single song I like to that hard drive, using the browser), download videos, and watch internet porn on my HDTV. I don't care how much it sells anymore. I love my PS3. You can sell yours if you want, but I think it's a bad idea.

not quite true. Monster Hunter left the PS3 for the Wii is a perfect example. However, developers haven't left the PS3 for X360 exclusivly, they have just gone multiplatform instead. I wouldn't be suprised though, if in the future more games head to the Wii since it is the market leader, but again, it will be nothing like the GC or N64.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy
In the past we played games. In the future we watch games. - Forest-Spirit

I forgot about that one, which is bad as it is one I might buy.  It is still a very small trickle.

don't sell it, who cares if the ps3 doesn't have momentum you buy a console for the games and the way I see it the ps3 games are the best(exclusives) of the 3 and you got all the ps360 games as well.

You Crazy!
