And I view people who buy the Legendary Edition as paying more than normal price. Maybe you didn't notice that.

Erm, so you're buying a headset with a game as an afterthought? I could swear it was the other way around, with a headset being thrust unto you.

I still can't help but say you're really paying full price for this game, unless you download it. And then you're paying Full Price minus cost of a blue ray disc. Though will probably play faster.

It is pretty hard to call a Bluetooth headset for $20 a bad deal.  You could probably sell the headset online for more than you paid for it.  I really don't understand how giving the consumer two options is a bad thing, especially when the item the retail copy is bundled with is by almost any standard worth as much as or more than you are paying for it.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

Oh my god look to the sales figures of next gen consoles on that site!

They are using the NEXTGENWARS NUMBERS!

Oh MY FU**ING GOD.

I don't trust sites who can not see the VG Chartz numbers are the best.

.....

Just kidding.

Jeesh, I know I'm new here and all and probably shouldn't be talking down to someone with as many posts as Fuzzmosis, but come on.  What's so hard to understand?  If you pay $40 that is not full price no matter how you try to look at it.  You pay $40, you get the game=not full price.  You pay $40+$20=$60 for the game+headset=still not full price.

As far as gameplay does it have some sort of coop campaign or is it only a pvp type setup?

Oh, you're allowed to insult me, disagree with me ETC. It wouldn't be, ummm, life if you weren't. So don't feel awkward about disagreeing, calling me an idiot, asshole etc. Well, maybe towards your boss, or a police officer...

Anyhow, smallflyingtaco: It's all Multiplayer. No single player, no co-op, just pure deathmatch/dog fight whatever.

And for the pricing: It somewhat Irks me that people accept the 60 bucks blindly. I'd wager if that blue tooth headset cost 50 bucks, something has a markup of 500%. If it is one game, it costs 60 dollars to buy at retail, it is full priced. If it was 2 games that cost 60 bucks at retail, it would be 30 bucks, reduced price. Download, at 40 bucks, is 10 bucks cheaper than what Hus Called a half game. Not quite full price, not quite reduced price. The only reason this came into play was Hus' claim that it won't be an issue there's no single player component, because it's not a full priced game, when one version clearly is, and one is a 50/50 commitment.

Plus, doesn't this "Multiplayer Only" give a nice Screw you to anyone who has a PS3 and doesn't play online?

You have to pay full price unless you download it. There is no $40 option in the shops that comes without the headset. What fuzz is saying is that your paying $60 for this game, sure you get a nifty headset but apart from downloading it the only way to get it is to pay the $60. Downloading is another matter, clearly its not full price to download.

When you put it that way...nope still doesn't make sense to me how it can be considered a full priced game.

Sorry.  Maybe I just can't see it the way you guys do, but I see value in a headset, so I don't really see it as a bonus, more of a package I guess.

I think I understand where you guys are coming from though, because maybe you see owning a game as having a physical copy?

Anyway, something nobody has brought up as far as I remember reading is the fact that you can share downloaded games across 5 PS3s, so if you split the cost amongst your friends, you'll only be paying $8.  Not too bad eh?

The Headset is completely valueless for me, and I am cheap. So why on earth would I want to pay more for a "Package"? All it does is artificially raise the price to... a full priced game with garbage inside. Hooray! What a deal. I'm very harsh with consumerism. I'm amazed that people pay money for bottled water too.

The sharing portion I did not know. Which is actually quite interesting actually. The Wii has security measures to prevent such a thing. Not sure about Xbox360, but I'd like to read more about that. Know any place to quick check, or do I gets on the Google and find it for myself?.
