It's not bad, but could've been a lot better.
Why is it half of the time we see fan made boxart, they end up being better than the real thing? Notable exception with Twilight Princess's, which is damn near the prettiest thing I've ever seen.
I quite like the background in the real metroid boxart, half the world and sky (space) corrupted, and all that :)

Count me in this bet. If MP 3 gets a 9.0 on both I will post in the crow eating thread. I expect at least one unrelated comment like the one in GS that said Zelda TP had no voice because GC media can not handle it. MP hunters score was changed by GS because they said it had only 1 mode for online play.
Come on Ckmlb, look at the worst covers section at 1up. Do you really think MP3 deserve a place in that section? I think that MP3 going to that section is not a good sign.

I never said conspiracy. It's a well known thing that 1up doesn't likes Wii for various reasons, just the same as some people don't like Xbox 360 or PS3. And seriously, if someone doesn't likes the Wii, well, it's their problem, not mine.
But anyway, I'm sure 1up is not gonna rate this game anything above 8.9. If they do, I eat crow.

joora your box art is good maybe even better than the real thing and the other fanart looks good aswell but i still like the "official" boxart alot.

Kinda off-topic: I agree that US covers are a lot worses than JAP ones. One rare exception is Zelda: TP
On-topic: I used to like the cover, but now I realizes it is VERY COLOURED and "happy" and these things... The game is called CORRUPTION, it must show some sort of "corrupted things" on cover. And Dark Samus don't count at all, it looks more like a shadow than another character. To me the official cover is worst than the other ones showed on topic.
So, any of you has high screen images of those custom covers? You know... for printing it and using it instead the original :P
