Agreed with the OP. R1 might not have been a masterpiece but it was an above average fps. R2 , on the other hand , is horrible in every aspect with the one hit kills having the same gameplay philosophy with a bad nes platformer.

haha R1 sold more because it was the only game besides motorstorm that was good for the PS3 when it came out. R2 had a lot more competition, thus lower sales.

I wasn't too impressed with R2. That is why i sold it and now awaiting Killzone 2.

there is not one hit kills in R2 the only way to do that its to get snipe in the headshot.

WOW some of the points you ppl give why you pick RFOM>R2 don't even make sense e.g(You die so many times in R2) is that the games fault or maybe the one playing it? and some clearly haven't even played the game you can tell by reading their complains.

I tried playing split screen Horde mode the other day with my roommate and i thought it was GARBAGE. It takes like 50 shots to kill a locust. And there is terrible hit detection, which to me makes modes like horde fun. I enjoy Nazi Zombies 100x more.

well he might be talking about those weak sneaky things that charge at you but die with one or two hits mattering the weapons... I hate them. I rarely play R2 single player so I'm on the ship right now after you do the first half of that mission. I hate them so much since unlike on Earth they are actually pretty much invisible.
