So how often do you see should i buy Wii or PS3 threads compared to X360/ps3 threads ?

Anyway, telling that the most casual-orientated console aka Wii isn't competing to the successor of the most casual-orientated console last gen aka PS2 is something more than stupid, or as Kaz would say it - "I can't come up with one word to fit. You need a word that describes something that is worse than delusional"

MH3, man on man it is going to be epic when the game does not sell the millions people expect on the Wii as MH has done on the PSP and then we see MH3G on PSP. Think we will see some suicides on this site, will not be to the level of the FFXIII on 360 announcement but still something special.

People that like Japanese games would like to refuse this idea. Don't forget that Playstation used to be THE brand for J-games (I loved it for that) and therefore has many loyal fans that expected this gen to be the same. But Wii has definitely taken over that role, with the more niche titles like Muramasa and Kizuna coming to Wii that would definitely be PS in the past.

Also: Fatal Frame, Dragon Quest, Monster Hunter used to be Playstaion exclusives. More will definitely follow. It's absurd to assume that the Killzone and Gears demographic is the only important group.

Yes, obviously. Not only gamers that aren't into Western games (like I mentioned above), but the Playstation used to be the home of the massive casual audience. Not anymore. The PS3 is fighting for exactly the same demographic as 360 (and also PC): those that like mature Western games. Note that this casual audience bought loads of GTA, Need for Speed etc. so earned Sony a lot of money.
