This just in: GI.biz reports that Fallout 3 is dominating the sales charts in the UK, landing at number one in overall sales for every platform. While actual sales numbers are not disclosed, GI reports that a full 55% percent of the copies sold were for the Xbox 360, with 28% and 17% going to the Playstation 3 and PC, respectively. Perhaps more interesting is that Fallout 3 sales have already eclipsed the combined sales numbers of the original Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout: Tactics and Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel. The game also managed to outdo week one sales numbers of Bethesda's own Elder Scrolls IV: Obliviion by 57%.

Looks like it sold a hell of a lot more in the UK on the 360 than the PC.

Check out this demo from 2006. Although it was on a quad core, the game has been highly optimized since then. I can't wait to see the final thing on a 360 or PC. I'm sure it will be amazing on both.

Holy crap that demo was from 2006?! It looks really good already, besides Mr. Wakes odd gait in the demo. That hurricane is also mind blowing, RE5 was my most anticipated release but that may change soon.
