MS has a nag for keeping their 360 news on the downlow untill the last minute. So far the best looking games of 09 IMO would have to be Alan Wake, Star Ocean 4 and the Lost and the Damned. But at this point you don't really need to look into the future if you want great exclusives to play. Gears 1, 2, Lost Odyssey, Forza and Ninja Gaiden 2 should be enough to give you a good 100 hours of gaming.

Well... you didn't say you like RPG's, so that rules off DS.

It's either the 360 or something non gaming related for you I guess.

1. Alan Wake looks okay although its a new IP so you never know

2. Splinter Cell: Conviction. Looks good and you can trust Tom Clancy

3. Mass Effect 2. I think its kinda gay, but some people liked the first one

There's plenty of incentive to get a 360 nowadays, which is why I'm getting an Elite this summer!

Theres plenty of games coming out this year man, some of which havent been anounced yet man, microsoft is pwning sony right now and I dont see no signs of slowing down, I personally don't see sony as microsofts competition, you dont sound like you care too much about online gaming, but if you do 360 is definitely the system to have, way more people online, with mikes, more features to keep in touch with your friends, more features to come, even if you aint interested in online, microsoft got plenty of good exclusives coming to the system.

Bottom line if you dont get the system you will be missing out on Gears of war, left for dead, Gears of war 2, and Halo 3: ODST which I think is going to bring back a good main campain to the halo series, which means YOU a person that like shooters is a must get, thats 4 games already, plus the unanounced games that will be good.

I have the system and Im having a blast with gears of war alone, I aint playing gears of war 2 online until they fix the darn thing.

Microsoft will have a better lineup than last year man, last year it was just gears of war 2 and fable 2 and left for dead, 3 games this year.

fall 2007 it was the same thing 3 games, bioshock, mass effect and halo 3.

I remember at the beginning of 2008 people were saying 360 got nothing, then gears of war 2 was anounced at GDC then everybody changed saying 360 got something now, the same thing is happening this year, 360 got no games, yadda yadda yadda, GDC is coming, and the latest rumors I have heard is their going to blow the doors of Alan wake and finally show gameplay, and anounce and maybe show gameplay of Mass Effect 2.

and at E3 show gameplay of Halo 3 ODST, I also heard E3 is going to be big for microsoft again, remember the Final Fantasy 13 anouncement at E3 last year.

this year 2009, microsoft has only anounced 2 major games so far, alan wake, halo 3 odst, but microsoft said there will be more, so far mass effect 2 could be exclusive once again time will tell, but I know microsoft is going to have the best lineup of exclusive games on any system again.

..........and there is nothing wrong with waiting, just wait and pick up a 360 later this year, they may even drop the price by another 50 bucks this year.

Anyways, how are MS pwning Sony at the minute....I dont understand?
I made it clear in my OP that Sony are my number 1, and in my opinion they make the best games and hardware, but Im not dumb enough to ignore the great games that Microsoft has on offer.

I wish MS would just announce all their big hits right now XD
