Well you know the old saying, I would rather have it and not need it, then to need it and not have it.

people that dont need wifi?

people that don't play online (hardly since xbox live if often said to be superior because omygod, a text chat, and crossgame voice chat).

people that spend alot of money and time building their house with ethernet ports everywhere that can put a CAT-5 out of every wall.

and people that have have their PC their modem and console in the same small basement.

Exactly,  all of the differences seperately would cost almost the price of a PS3 by itself.  Not to mention that $200 you are talking about disappears in 4-5 years with Gold membership fees

and buying a blu ray player, and buying ps3 later to play GT5 versus.

I have it all on one system, and I could care less. Really, the only feature I wanted on my 360 was wifi. That's it. And I am working on getting a cheap solution for that.

While I enjoy Blu Ray and have a few movies, I wouldn't have bought a Blu Ray at all until it hit the $100 if I didn't get a PS3.

people that spend alot of money and time building their house with ethernet ports everywhere that can put a CAT-5 out of every wall. I didn't spend any money on ethernet ports.

Aw man, sounds like we're going to have a showdown. Two enter one leave!

people that dont need wifi?
imagine that!?!?  most people dont use wi-fi for anything other than their laptops.  they still use wired for consoles and desktops.  especially since most cable providers end up installing the modem and everything all right by the tv so the short ethernet cable is plenty.  ethernet is the best choice for online gaming.

people that don't play online (hardly since xbox live if often said to be superior because omygod, a text chat, and crossgame voice chat).
lets see, the 360 has 28 million consoles sold, and only about 18 million LIVE subscribers, so 10 million people obviously don't play online

people that spend alot of money and time building their house with ethernet ports everywhere that can put a CAT-5 out of every wall.
what?  this isn't even needed.  most people's console is in the living room.  if it is in a bedroom or basement, running a single cat 5 cable through a vent or something is very painless and simple

and people that have have their PC their modem and console in the same small basement.

u fit at 1 >_>, the you are connecting the cat5 directly from ethernet modem, or have you have enough ports in your house.
