Long interview, some interesting info on the behind-the-scenes music licensing issues.  A quote that excited me:

For us, that lingering question of "what are we going to do about Amplitude" is still very much out there. I would love to come back and do it right for the PlayStation 3, for example.

Apparently Sony owns the copyright to Amplitude, which is something I didn't know.

frquency was one of my first ps2 games , and amplitude was one of my all time favourites.

But I thought GH and RB were already some kind of sequels to those games (never played GH or RB), anyway I hope it happens.

Frequency was (one of) the game(s) that got me back into console gaming after a long hiatus.  Back when I lived with someone that owned a PS2, I bought all of Harmonix's PS2-era games.  It was awesome.

Yes! Please do it.

Frequency/Amplitude are excellent games, and I used to play Amplitude online all the time. Bring it back, you'll get a sale from me, that's for sure. I was kinda dissapointed when they announced they were working on "guitar hero" instead of another amp/freq type game.
