one of my favorite games to play are the ones in the onimusha series. Will they make another one for the next gen system.  And better yet... will it stay exclusive

No one other than the publisher really knows... and that's "IF" they even thought about making another game.

I would say probably not. Public perception of the series seemed to go way down as time went on and more titles were released. The only smart decision would be to test the series out on the Wii, because the engine, art, etc. could remain intact, lowering costs in case it bombs.

I'm not sure why exclusivity would matter at all though. Onimusha wasn't exactly maxing out the PS2 and could have looked better on the other two consoles if it were to have been ported past the original. Exclusivity would be fine if it were made for the Wii, but if it were to go HD, it would be guaranteed multiplatform, no questions asked. Capcom has gone on record that their new strategy is multiplatform.

I hope there is, as they were fun games, although (and I know I will probably go against popular opinion on this one) I would like to see how it transfers to the Wii's controls more than I would like to see how it would look in HD (that could be because I played the latest one on the PC, though, so I'm already spoiled in the graphics department lol)

@ mrjuju ...if you'd like to experience Onimusha with Wii controls then maybe you should try this...

...its a sword controller for the PS2 that you swing it and your character will swing etc. This controller was released for when Omnimusha 3 was released. And if you played the latest one on the PC would you mean Onimusha 3 as well? Because Dawn of Dreams was their latest installment which i dont believe made it to PC.

I too, would like to see a new installment of Onimusha (preferably at least on the PS3 because thats what i own and i have the whole series collecetion....yes even the Blade Warriors game =P ) and i'd like to see it in HD graphics of course.

Also i wasnt sure if this series was completely exclusive because i do believe there was Onimusha the first one for the original Xbox.
