Delusional said: wow kwaad, u sure have a lot of expensive stuff. big tvs, ps3s, and expensive cameras (well, i kno there are people with even more expensive stuff in the forum). seems like you can just buy and buy. sigh. i earn a decent salary and i still feel too poor to buy anything.
Get a cheaper mortgage. That's how I do it. 400$/month in a place where the average house is over 100,000$. (I own) Helps alot. That's 200$/less than most people I know. add in some other nice money saveing tactics. And you are living on less than 800$/month... making close to 2,000. :P Add the bill on my TV... I'm still well under 1000$. I call it the. "I dont take loans untill I cant pay them off." theory.

Nobody is crazy enough to accuse me of being sane.

Welcome to SF Bay area median housing prices. Look it up. I'm currently in a 400k condo.

I almost bought one, it's just a GBA with a Famicom color scheme. It's the Japanese equivalent of the NES-themed GBA, I got a black one instead originally. I do now have an NES-themed model, interestingly enough. I gave the Japanese GBA to a friend.

Granted, it's more expensive and I don't shoot much in the way of sports or nature so this isn't my forte. I find flickr to be good enough, and I really don't feel like paying for an image hoster like smug mug. BTW, I had no clue that google offered image hosting.

The 170-500 has a much larger lens. I think it's something like 70mm. The 50-500 is more like a 55mm. That makes a HUGE difference for clarity. (I like the 170-500 better than the 50-500 for images)
