Are we including the PC in this ? If so then World of Warcraft would be the highest selling HD game. But if you include call of duty 4 on all HD formats (PC, PS3, 360) then CoD 4 would also beat Halo 3.

If not and only for a single HD console format then I think Halo 3 wins hands down.

Did someone actually say pc CoD4 has sold more than Halo 3? the original Starcraft has only sold 9.5 mil(Blizard statement) and it has consistently been in the charts for years and is bigger than CoD. Those pc sales charts are worthless without numbers.

You could argue Half Life 2 has sold at least 9.5 M (probably 13-15M).

I played GTA Vice City in HD on my old PC....

Dude, you have to understand what "HD" stands here for... You had HD (720p) resolutions for gaming in the 90's already so obviously that's not the criteria and obviously GTA Vice City isn't an "HD" game.

HD doesn't mean horsepower my friend. Even the new Vista Chess game is played in HD.

You should go some other way around to nominate Halo 3 for being something...

HD is a term companys use to sell TVs. But GTA Vice City is a HD game (only on PC mind you). HD is just different resolutions really.

Lol pedantic people. HD consoles are the ps3 and 360 regardless if the game itself is actually natively that resolution. It has little to do with the resolution and more to do with separating the two losers from the wii. In this category halo 3 should sell the most.
