I'd recommend it to anyone who likes strategy games. I've never played any other srpgs but it reminds me of strategy games, specifically advance wars, with additional gameplay elements added in. The end result is the best game I've seen from Sega since the dreamcast days.

Just one question, does the game come with voice acts? or is it just plain texts and mouth-moving?

(Note: I have yet own a PS3 or XBOX360 but a Wii....)

As am looking forward to get a PS3 once we move house, so might as well prepare for the money and do a crazy spending spree when the time comes.

Voice acting is prevalent, and accompanies every instance of text speaking that I can think of.

You can choose whichever, English or Japanese. I have tried out both and both were serviceable with few annoying voices and each voice having a distinct and meaningful personality behind it.

It's both and the english aren't very bad. It seems they got some good English actors, but didn't even bother translating the text for the PAL release to other languages.

Street Fighter IV is gonna kick ass. I do agree about getting this game over MGS4. It isn't good.

It's GameSpot game of the year! And GameSpot hates the PS3!

We must sign a truce here. They're both PS3 exclusives, they're both awesome.

Get it after MGS4, and after SF4 and Killzone 2 (because those two aren't out for several weeks)

There is no truce good sir! You come to the table wth terms not favourable to me and mine! This parley will end with equal satisfaction or bloodshed.

I will accept no other term then VC's number one spot in the OP's list of purchase, the best term I can offer you is a recommendation of getting both games at once (though only if VC is scanned first at the checkout counter).
