Forums - Sales Discussion - Zack and Wiki to Be Budget Priced - Samba De Amigo for Wii Coming in Feb

nice to c all these budget games..nowadays games are way too expensive..i would say zak & wiki is a very good deal at 39.99.. judging by what i've seen and heard so far it's well worth it..

Origin,
seriously, thanks for the update!

Samba De Amigo is certainly going to be a title I'm buying. I just hope we see more of the SEGA treasures that faded into obscurity on the main scene. I really hope that SEGA's reinventing of NiGHTS and perhaps future ports like Samba De Amigo, or possible rebuilds, all flourish on the Wii and help SEGA get some of it's own footing back.

But there are many games on that list that I honestly am interested in getting. I'm going to have to save my pennies and put together something before too long...

Samba De Amigo would interest me far more if it was developed by 1999/2000 Sega rather than 2007 Sega ...

The Dreamcast had some amazing games (Jet Grind Radio) that really showcased Sega's creativity and that was all killed when they became a third party...

so was anyone gonna pay $50 for Wiki and Zach..

lol

I'd be waiting before the stores open to buy Zack and Wiki for $50.  Anything less is great since I have way too many games and not enough of a budget for the holidays.

As for Samba De Amigo, eh, not my kind of game.  If it was though I would be in squirrels boat.

I hope they put the DC on the virtual console. It really did have neat games people would buy.

Bet with OriGin: Within 1 year Super Smash Bros. Brawl will be ahead of Mario Kart Wii (when aligning the one whole year from each region). 2 week ban from Vgchartz for the loser. Edit: Darn! Looks like OriGin will win.

I bet they're all still $100 here in Aus. Or maybe we'll get it for the budget price of $90!

*sigh*

How much is Big Brain Academy in Australia? Here in europe it's budget priced at €30.

It really gets confusing regarding Wii games. First, we have to wait for months for some games (Trauma Center, Super Paper Mario) or get games before the US (Mario Strikers Charged, Wii Play). Second, we get games at full price which are budget in US (Mercury Meltdown Revolution), but get a full priced game from the US at budget price here (Big Brain Academy).

Seriously, I have no clue what publishers are thinking.

On topic, I hope that Zack and Wiki is budget priced in PAL regions as well, I expect €40, just like the GC Capcom games Viewtiful Joe 2 and Killer 7 were.

Don't even know if it's been released yet. I haven't seen it anywhere. If it is, I bet it will be $100.

Ooooohhh cheap Dragon Blade, Table Tennis and Z&W? Count me in! Btw,  LT Acme
Arsenal? That game has mediocrity written all over it. There isn't a good LT game since the Tiny Toons era on Nintendo.

This sounds like a great game, and when this and Metroid come out, it'll probably get me to go down to gamestop and get a Wii.
